Fawning over their accent is such an amateur move - don't embarrass yourself like that! Guys abroad are well aware that American girls fetishize their adorable accents, so try and play it cool! Don't ask them to say words in English that sound funny in their accent, don't attempt to imitate their accents, and don't ask them to imitate yours. You're trying to give off the vibe that you're a sophisticated, worldly young woman; play the part and act like you've heard about a million different accents in your lifetime.
