Yesterday, CharityChicks US Founder and We Will Survive Cancer board member Elizabeth Kane hosted "A Day Date with Microsoft." We Will Survive Cancer was recently sponsored by Microsoft to host educational in-store events, and their first event was dedicated to little girls who have a parent living with cancer. Inova Health Foundation's Life with Cancer Center in Fairfax helped select several children to take part in an afternoon devoted to learning about video creation and editing at the Microsoft store at Pentagon City's Fashion Centre. The little girls were accompanied by their mothers who are currently battling cancer.
The girls enjoyed making videos, nibbling on some very girly cupcakes, and wrapping up the afternoon in all smiles moving and grooving to Dance Central.
