The Federalist was the place to be on Monday night, to grab a drink and toast to the L'Enfant Society's Ball on the Mall, a black-tie gala on May 5. The L'Enfant Society's mission is to raise funds to preserve the national mall, which makes their breathtaking gala on the mall (yes, with the Washington monument in the background) worth every penny for guests.
The event was very effective. Over $6,000 was raised, and the L'Enfant Society recruited 34 new members and one board member.
