Megaparty Big Night DC New Years Eve, a party that is 15 years in the making and now occupies a whopping 200,000 sq feet, sold out all 7,000 tickets for an open bar party at the Gaylord Resort at the new National Harbor. Nineteen musical acts in about a dozen different themed ballrooms (Mardi Gras, karaoke, disco, casino, etc) kept the party moving and dancing all night.
The lazer light show in almost every room, open bar, DJs, local band lineup (Mr Greengenes, Kristen & The Noise, White Ford Bronco, Burnt Sienna and more) and first class cuisine made Big Night a great way for young Washingtonians to welcome 2012 with a bang!

The night was orchestrated by Party DC and HiBall Events. HiBall Events is the same group that throws other epic mega parties around town (and around the country) like July 4th National FreedomFest and the Thanksgiving Throwdown. Party DC also throws large events, like Virginia Wine Fest and Mardi Gras Madness.
Although the party ended around 3am, those who wanted more carried it over into the wee hours of the morning in the Gaylord Resort hotel suites!
