Brannen Blazer and Joe Gaither are raising money for their marathon run in Berlin for "Team for Kids," a charity that fights childhood obesity. This Saturday afternoon, they're hosting an all-day football fest at Mason Inn starting at 1 p.m.
Mason Inn is already a great spot for watching multiple football games now that there are several big screen TVs against the wall. Since the place is owned by the same peeps that own Kitchen, a southern restaurant next door, we have no doubt the Bloody Marys and BBQ will either make you forget your school is losing, or make your school's victory taste sweeter. Live Bluegrass will be playing all afternoon in coordination with commercial breaks, halftimes, and whenever the mood strikes.
100% of the money they're raising goes directly to the charity--so no, none of it goes to their international flights or European hotels (they're paying for that out of their pockets).
If your main objective is to score an introduction with these fundraising fellas, wear light blue! Blazer and Gaither are UNC alums.
