DC Entrepreneurs Bring Innovative Fashion Application “Divalicious”, Gearing Up for Android Launch

by Alexa Lombardo · September 14, 2011

Divalicious, a shopping application recently launched for the iPhone and iPad by Fairfax-based Weyrich Enterprises, revolutionizes the mobile shopping experience!

Local entrepreneurs Andrew Weyrich and Rich Kessler created the app, which boasts over a million fashion, home and beauty products for women, men, children and infants.

In the virtual dressing room, one of the sites most unique features, shoppers can choose from more than 300 popular brands comprising apparel, shoes and accessories to piece together outfits, view ensembles and eventually purchase them in their entirety.

What makes the dressing room even better is its user-friendliness. Simply drag and drop product images on a mannequin’s “body” to put together a complete look. – it’s so easy!

Still not impressed? Weyrich (pictured, left), CEO of Weyrich Enterprises, explains how creators took the app one step further: “You can assemble outfits on yourself after uploading a photo. Now you don't have to go to the store to see what you would look like with shoes from DSW, a Prada purse, and a Banana Republic dress. The clothes are all in one place, not in three different stores.”

Other features of the site include a “Show Me What Fits” and “Related Looks” options, “Wish List” and “Share” capabilities, numerous search filters, and a comprehensive list of gift certificates.

“Divalicious will become a new way to give gifts,” says Kessler (pictured, left), Chief Technology Officer at Weyrich.

Divalicious is currently available in the iTunes store free of charge for iPhone and iPad users and an Android version will be released this October!
