Kiehls Since 1851, the esteemed NYC-based skin and hair care company, has partnered up with amFAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, for the third annual Kiehl's LifeRidefor amfAR. LifeRide is a ten-day philanthropic motorcycle ride along the Eastern Seaboard to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS research and resources.
Noted guests will include: Sharon Stone, Chris Salgardo (President, Kiehl's), John Corbett (aka Aidan from SATC), Tyson Beckford, and Kevin Robert Frost (amFAR CEO).
What: This Friday, Kiehl's will be hosting an event to celebrate both the official culmination of the annual LifeRide for amFAR and the International AIDS conference staging with honored guest, Sharon Stone!
The event will feature the motorcyclists riding up M Street to the Georgetown Kiehl's; motorcycle-inspired bites created by noted DC area chefs including RJ Cooper, Mike Isabella, Robert Wiedmaier, and David Guas, motocycle themed Georgetown Cupcakes, beverages from AriZona beverages, and a $115,000 check presententation to amFAR from Kiehl's President Chris Salgardo
One lucky attendee will even have the chance to win a ticket for themselves and guest to attend the amFAR & GBCHealth's Together to End AIDS Gala, honoring Bill & Melinda Gates on July 21st at the Kennedy Center.
