Details: The 3rd annual Washington Women in Journalism Awards reception. The event – which is the only event among all White House Correspondents’ Dinner weekend festivities to specifically recognize women in journalism – will celebrate the following three outstanding journalism award recipients:
Outstanding Broadcast Journalist Dana Bash, chief political correspondent, CNN
Outstanding Periodicals Journalist Kathryn Lopez, editor at large, National Review
Outstanding Newspapers/Wire Journalist Carolyn Ryan, political editor, The New York Times
In addition to the three outstanding journalist awards for broadcast, periodicals, and print. The advisory board selected a CQ Roll Call Lifetime Achievement Award winner to be named tomorrow night.
