Why: For more than 30 years, The Washingtonian has invited readers to vote for the best people, places, and services in the area. At the AT&T Best of Washington party, the winners are invited to set up booths and serve up their finest offerings. Last year, more than 2,000 guests, celebrities, restaurateurs, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society supporters filled the National Building Museum to sample, sip, and socialize. This year, all funds from the silent auction and a portion of ticket proceeds will once again go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The soiree is a winner for all sponsors, suppliers, guests, and beneficiaries. The AT&T Best of Washington party is the highlight of the DC summer season!
