Comcast Outdoor Drive-In Film Festival
Where: 850 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, MD
When: Friday, August 15 | 5:00 PM
Why: Journey back to the days of the drive-in at the 18th annual Comcast Outdoor Film Festival for three nights August 15-17, 2014 in Montgomery County. Held on the grounds of the old Rockville Drive-In that closed in 1981, the action begins three hours before the feature presentation with music, food, and family fun including inflatables and carnival games starting at 5:30 pm, and the movies beginning at 8:30 pm. Best of all a portion of the proceeds go to benefit NIH Children’s Charities! Admission is free but spaces to enjoy the film from the comfort of your car are limited. Blankets and lawn chairs are permitted so you can sit under the stars up front. The festival, featuring the only nine-story high, 52-foot wide inflatable movie screen within 1000 miles, offers an unrivaled outdoor movie experience with digital cinema projection. Come spend a night under the stars at the Comcast Outdoor Film Festival this Friday night!
