Party-For-A-Cause
Party-For-A-Cause Formal to Benefit Elizabeth's Hope
When: Friday, September 28, 9 PM-1 AM
Where: National Postal Museum, 2 Massachusetts Avenue, NE
Why: To celebrate the 2012 Homecoming Weekend, Georgetown University's Party-For-A-Cause (PFC) organization will be throwing their annual Homecoming formal party this Friday night at the National Postal Museum. The mission of Party-For-A-Cause, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is to empower and encourage college students to participate in and create events that raise money and awareness for charitable causes. This year's homecoming party, which will include an open bar, hors d'oeuvres and a live band, will benefit the Georgetown special interest charity, Elizabeth's Hope. Founded by Westchester County, New York teen, Elizabeth Minter, who lost her battle with cancer in May 2012, Elizabeth's Hope is dedicated to finding cures for inoperable brain tumors in children and adolescents. The event will bring together Georgetown students, alumni, friends and family for a night of dancing and fun for a good cause. To learn more about Elizabeth's Hope, go HERE.
