Sleepy Hollow: Ballet and American Art

Why: American Art, the Washington Ballet, and artistic director Septime Webre are coming together for a performance of Sleepy Hollow, which will premiere February 18th. Dancers will perform never-before-seen excerpts from the upcoming world premiere of the full- length ballet based on Washington Irving's classic ghost story. Webre will discuss the creation of the new ballet, costume and set design, and the link with American Art's Hudson River school paintings.
