This enormous dive sports bar and restaurant just steps away from Dupont Circle is an active Washingtonian's utopia. With hardly any open wall space, Buffalo Billiards has a seemingly endless number of TVs and plenty available seating for groups of fans looking to cheer on their team, beer in hand. During college football and basketball season, this usually spacious sports bar quickly becomes standing-room only, as it is the official game watching venue for the loyal University of Michigan alumni who call DC home, like yours truly. For those rooting on another team, bartenders will turn a smaller TV to a different game upon request.
During halftime, patrons can take advantage of their cheap drinks and readily available bar games. Between pool, shuffleboard, skeeball and darts there is never a
sober dull moment at Buffalo Billiards.
