Why We Fell In Love: For those bitter Bettys and crushed Cupids, come join other singles at the soon-to-reopen 14th Street hotspot, Bar Pillar (only the bar is open for now!) to drown your sorrows and sours with special cocktails and desserts.
Even if you're feeling heartbroken, Bar Pillar will be serving up some sweet deals just in time for anti-Valentine's Day.
Try selections from a special menu of Bitter and Sour cocktails and desserts while listening to a non-stop reel of break up songs. Cocktails are all $10 and are made with a selection of mixologist Jonathan Fain's best ingredients. Drinks range from
Cupid's Broken Arrow with Rum, Sugarcane Citrus and housemade bitters,
Tuff Love with Rye Whisky, housemade Peach Bitters and Lemonade, and the
Cheap Date a concoction of Pilsner and Underberg. Guests can also munch on tart treats for dessert for the perfect cure.
