What: A true Georgetown institution, Martin's Tavern has been open since 1933.
Who: Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon (he regularly sat at booth #2 to savor Martin's meatloaf), and JFK, have all been spotted there. It is famous for the 'proposal booth' (booth # 3) where JFK proposed to Jackie Kennedy!
