We’re currently available in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. Traditionally, Silicon Valley-based companies launch technology offerings in Silicon Valley because of the density of early adopters here. Yet, there are examples of companies that could not be successful elsewhere because they had built a solution focused too much on this market rather than consumers nationwide.
We wanted to launch a solution that applies to all homeowners, and we looked at different criteria across many markets, including size, density, demographics, and climate. Washington, D.C. was the best aligned with our business and happens to be the seventh largest DMA nationally. Washington, D.C. is an ideal mix of savvy early adopters, entrepreneurs and family households; it's been a great market for our Super launch.
