Katherine Kennendy, the queen bee socialite of D.C. (and new principal at Availor Partners Social Impact Fund), and her beau Grant Allen, a venture capitalist with ABB Technology Ventures, had quite the "triathalon" of activities on Saturday.
First, they ran/walked a 5k for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, which Kennedy is essentially the face of. She's done PSAs for skin cancer with the foundation, and was the leader for their biggest walking team of over 50 people--and she made goody bags for all of them to thank them for participating. Aww!
After the walk, the pair put on their biking helmets for the LAB Ride, a 30-mile bike ride through Washington, D.C. This year, the benefactor was the Ocular Melanoma Foundation, which was founded by Allen!
The pair then dressed up in their finest for a wedding. You'd think they'd be too tired to dance, but they actually did cut the rug with the bride and groom!
"My legs didn't love it the next morning!" Kennedy told us.
