Other details: On Saturday, November 1st, Andre Wells hosted his annual, invite-only costume party at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium. Over 350 guests came out to celebrated Halloween and Andre's talents in full costume. The ballroom was flanked with food stations from Design Cuisine, equipped with satellite bars, plush lounge seating and a grand dance floor. Andre Wells donned a flamboyant James Brown costume complete with a sparkly cape and mic stand and made quite the entrance on stage, singing "Get On Up," with the band! DC socialites and taste makers gear up every year for the coveted costume contest part of the evening. This year winners included guest dressed as Karl Lagerfeld, Grace Jones, and The Cast of Clueless took home the title for best overall costume. Each year Andre surprises the crowd with something special from a marching band to Wizards Cheerleaders, so this year's surprise? An intense DJ battle between popular DJs: DJ Bobby Drake (Winner), DJ Tye, DJ Q, and DJ Neekola, which got the crowd moving throughout the night!
