Other details: On Saturday, July 26th, VM Faces, founded by Velta Moore, celebrated the launch of their new production company with a glitzy Gatsby themed Roaring 20's party at the CAPITALE Lounge DC. It was a night of old Hollywood glam as female guests sparkled in fringe dresses and sequins while the men looked dashing in crisp Gatsby-style suits. Guests enjoyed an open bar, fun cocktails, dessert bites, and were entertainment by a live dance performance featuring dancers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio, a theatrical play inspired the Gatsby novel, featuring a cast of VM Faces actors, and a streaming video of the recent Great Gatsby film starting Leo DiCaprio on the club's big screens. Along side founder, Velta Moore, the event was co-hosted by DC's Sweetheart and former Miss District of Columbia 2012, Ashley Boalch Darby. The glamorous affair lasted from 7pm to 10pm.
