Where: New NPR Offices
Other Details: Guy Raz hosted an exclusive after party for NPR's newest office with their younger listeners. The Generation Listen opening had all the elements of a youthful, yet sophisticated invite-only event. Indie band Alpine set the whimsical tone of the night with a 'Tiny Desk Concert' in the middle of the Generation Listen work space. While still tapping their feet to the hypnotic Aussie tunes, guests made their way onto a patio where DJ Sean Glass spun tracks in between performances by guitarist, writer and singer Hayley Reardon.
Guests sipped on cocktails by Tito's Handmade Vodka and munched on Generation Listen-themed Georgetown Cupcakes. From the quirky temporary tattoo station to the epic view of Washington from NPR's office desk, Generation Listen certainly rocked their after party.
