Other Details: On Wednesday, June 11th, Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic celebrated the inaugural Women in Wishes luncheon at the W Hotel Washington. The luncheon featured keynote speakers Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne of Georgetown Cupcake, along with special guest - local wish kid, Addy. Addy recently became a break-out superstar, when her wish to be a pop star in her own music video gained international media attention and more than 850,000 views on YouTube. Other guests who were in attendance included professional women from the DC area who are committed to supporting local wishes. These women, along with the keynote speakers had the opportunity to listen to Addy story, and her successful rise to social media fame while enjoying custom made Georgetown cupcakes.
