Where: Yards Park Other details: On Saturday, August 9th, the Yards was transformed into an adult water festival complete with a giant inflatable water slide, pools with individual motor boats and people-sized hamster balls, as well as smaller inflatable pools to lounge in. In addition to the water elements, guests beat the heat with an all-out water battle fought with buckets of water, water guns, and water blasters. Lawn games including jenga, ladder ball and corn hole were available for guests looking to stay dry. Those in attendance also enjoyed live entertainment by 90s cover band, White Ford Bronco, as well as DJ sets by Rock Creek Social's Jerome Baker III. Bluejacket Brewery provided beer and frozen drinks that were available for purchase at the 18 foot tiki bar located in the center of all the action. This free to attend event was a huge success with over 1200 people in attendance!
