Where: The Manor
Who was there: Vintage Valentine organizer, Baille Gelwicks and Josh Morgan of the Chicago Bears.
Other details: On Friday, February 6, fashionistas and social do-gooders alike came out to attend Be My Vintage Valentine, presented by B.K. Gelwicks, at The Manor in support of the Polaris Project. Upon arrival, guests were asked to join the NO MORE movement against domestic violence, sexual assault and slavery by filling out cards with their wish for what they wanted "no more" of. Josh Morgan, wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, was spotted with his card announcing his hope for "no more excuses". Guests enjoyed a vintage fashion show featuring outfits from top vintage apparel store, Amalgamated.
Whether looking for an outfit to dress-to-impress for that special someone/special someone to-be, or a gift to stay out of the dog house, you were covered as everything in the show was available to purchase. Photo opportunities were endless with media, Guest House Events Nexxus Photobooth and a drone abound. The drone stole the show as it flew overhead catching the perfect view of the crowd. More hits from the show included swag bags with goodies from Haute Haus Agency, Sophie Blake and Erika Schrieber Pop Up Shop, Uber and The Sheppard; along with two signature cocktails inspired by the classics.
