Other details: On Saturday, February 7, DC socialites and VIPs made their way to the beautiful French Embassy to celebrate the wedding of their friend, John Hamilton to Anders De Voss. The exclusively intimate ceremony took place at 5:30 PM beginning with a train of flower girls wearing custom teal dresses, followed by the party of bridesmaids wearing a sea of deep, royal blue dresses. The couple, who had a previous wedding ceremony in Denmark, exchanged exquisite vows and were officially pronounced as married to DC society. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Embassy's main hall for a champagne toast were John thanked guests for attending the ceremony. Shortly after, the reception began with a live singer, music and dancing. Guests enjoyed moving about the event space and mingling with the whose who of DC guests as they indulged in a catered buffet style meal with an open champagne and cocktail bar. Maid of honor, Michelle Schoenfeld and family gave speeches to the happy couple as guests took turns posing for photos and congratulating John and Anders. The wedding reception turned dance floor party lasted late into the evening, then guests made their way to The Sheppard for the wedding reception after party. The Hamilton - De Voss wedding party, was like no other.
