Other details: On Saturday, November 8th, the Tigerlily Foundation held their 6th annual EmPOWER Ball to raise funds in support of young women living with breast cancer and to honor individuals making a difference in the world of breast cancer. Honorees of the foundation received many awards which included the Transformation Award, Courage Award, Hope Award, Inspire Award, and KM Warrior Award. The event was MCed by Anita Brikman, former News Anchor, WUSA9 and Scott Thuman, Anchor of Good Morning Washington. The EmPOWER Ball will be a celebration of life, survivor-ship, as well as a time during which we take to pause to honor those who have not survived. Guests who attended the event enjoyed a cocktail hour and silent auction, three-course dinner, and live entertainment. The events was sponsored by Backflow Technology, LLC and Genentech.
