The Night Before
The night before the wedding is not the time to be experimental! It’s the time to further commit to what you’ve been doing and make sure you get a good night's sleep.
You’re going to do a regular double cleanse, and you’re going to repeat the same skincare routine. If you’d like to do an overnight mask, I recommend going to bed with The Face Cream Mask. Please ensure you trial this product in advance to make sure your skin works well with it.
Keep things light, easy and try your best to stay away from alcohol 3-4 days prior. One further point to add would be one week out to eliminate sodium, sugar and dairy from your diet as they are notorious for creating inflammatory or reactor cascades on the skin which is what we’re trying to avoid.
One of the most important things to remember is that this preparation is to set you up so that when you look back at your photos, you really lean into the emotional experience of the day and don’t look at yourself and critique. The focus on the day should be on the spouse-to-be and on the relationship you’re committing to that day! We’re doing this preparation in order to get out of our own way, and to be fully present during this special moment while looking and feeling our best.
