Scarves To Dye For

For an even more unique bohemian flair, might we recommend a no-mess ice-dying station? Very camp. Very chic. And  if you're looking to facilitate some inter-guest mingling amongst those who've yet to meet or friends who've shown up solo, this is just the thing.

You'll need some containers, ice cubes, silk scarves, a colorful array of dye powders, and c'est tout!

Something blue? We've got you alright. Not to mention something purple, something yellow, something pink, and something just about every other color your mind could think up.

Plan ahead and track down some miniature mason jars to create a brilliant little color bar. Just don't forget to label the dyes. This may be fun, but it's sure as hell no free for all.

Sit the scarf within a tray of ice cubes, and get going with your bad self. Choose three or four of your favorite colors, and lightly dust the ice cubes. A little goes a long way, so keep it to a few pinches and don't get too trigger happy. Leave to soak in the tray for the melting ice to work its magic, and voila!

Hang along branches, or create a display clothesline to pipe a little life into the party while these funky accessories dry.
