When it comes to MTV’s Video Music Awards, shocking celebrity antics are generally synonymous with the show. From the Madonna & B. Spears makeout to Miley twerking on Robin Thicke, nothing should be surprising - that is until Kanye takes the stage. The beginning of one of the most notorious feuds was set aflame between Taylor Swift and West at the 2009 show. Following her reception of the award for her video “You Belong With Me,” Kanye rushed to the stage, snatched the mic and quickly objected, “I’ma let you finish, but Beyonce had the best video of all time!”
