The Dos And Don'ts Of Being A NYU Freshman

Do figure out the best places to eat nearby. I completely forgot to eat my first 2 weeks of school because I wasn't used to not having food in my place (I lived in Brittany Hall without a kitchen). Some suggestions? Artichoke Pizza just opened near campus, Cafe Reggio is cute for a cup of coffee or breakfast, Mamoun's Falafel is cheap, yummy and filling, Space Market has the best sandwiches, and the Dosa Man (he's the guy with the cart right outside of Washington Square Park) has killer cheap eats. In terms of dining halls? I was always a fan of Kimmel and Hayden for healthy choices, but when it was time to drunk munch Weinstein (both Up-stein and Down-stein) had just what I was in the mood for (aka greasy food). I would just stay away from Rubin in general. Both of these places rock for food! [Photo via]
