I guess time will tell. Last spring at the Absolut Elyx party, you had an amazing set. I noticed you played songs that aren’t too common at clubs. How do you get a crowd into it? There are a lot of songs that, although they might be newer, you assume peoples’ ears will like in the future. They carry the same structure and breakdown that a regular song would, but people have done it in a new way. Which is obviously why artists succeed and strive in their fields; they understand how to recreate something with their own sound but keep it familiar enough that people understand it. So I think I just work within that zone of familiarity.
