Do you have a set day schedule? Sometimes writers set aside a specific time to write, or is it more unplanned for you?
“Yeah I can’t do scheduled day, I can’t allot specific time to writing because I’m often not in that head. I have to really be there and ready to do it and I have to sit down and be quiet and have a glass of wine and just write. It happens sort of on its own - I can’t force it.”
What was your major in college?
“Journalism”
So I guess maybe you’d maybe be writing if you weren’t in fashion?
“Yeah well I always say that if I weren’t blogging, I’d probably be a fact checker…at Harpers Bazaar or something. That’s pretty much an entry-level fashion job at a magazine, so, that’s probably what I’d be doing.”
