Ozone Vag

Damn, Goop really loves talking about beauty rituals for your vagina, huh? And given how we live in a phallocentric society where a presidential race turns into a "Who has a bigger dick?" contest, we love that she's bringing awareness to the va-jay-jay. How can we forget when she famously talked about piping ozone into your funnel? No, seriously, this is an actual regimen at Alchemy in the yoga douche epicenter of the world, Bali. During World War I, ozone was used by soldiers as an antiseptic. So obviously it stands to reason that you should probably use the same antidote used by the army to treat infected wounds, SARS, AIDS, and viruses.

False: This is an actual thing, but it wasn't marketed on Goop. I read about it on Vice. Gwyneth actually talked about vaginal steaming - there's a difference! Vagina steaming is less scientific because it involves sitting on top of a steaming pot of water that has some kind of mugwort and herbal mixture, so it's much less science-y. Doctors have come out to dismiss vagina steaming, but they have yet to say that piping ozone is bad for you.
