We have this network of curators that we put together, who we believe are today’s Gertrude Steins. They have been chosen by our committee as important tastemakers of contemporary art today - they are curators, critics and art advisors. They select the work that is shown at the Salon, and talk about it during the event. They are really passionate about the artists they show. Like at our Salon three weeks ago, we had a renowned art historian running from one end of the livingroom to the other, playing piano and making huge gestures to make his points. We really focus on getting the best curators possible, so most of the time we get to discover and spend time with incredible artists at our Salons.[Photo via]
