What: If you're familiar with the 'speakeasy' scene that hit a fever pitch in the late '00s, then you're probably familiar with The Garret, the 2nd floor West Village bar which you enter through 5 Guys burgers. Its cozy decor and eclectic crowd has made it a favorite for refined imbibers, and now the team is opening a second outpost in the East Village. The Garret East will retain the same elegant look, but in a much less hidden location on Avenue A.
