#6: La Fonda Del Sol

La Fonda Del Sol
Transcend the hustle and bustle of Midtown and step into La Fonda Del Sol, your tapas oasis, located above the chaos of Grand Central Station. Now owned by the Patina Restaurant Group with Executive Che Chris DeLuna, La Fonda has been around since the 1960s and has since been revived. There is a tapas lounge as well as a more quiet dining room, both with their own menus. The dining room can be used for private events, including wine tastings; the tapas lounge offers a wider array of tapas than does the dining room. On Tuesdays, treat yourself to 3 tapas for $22. The options include their signature Tuna Tacos, Hanger Steak Churrasco, and Empanadas, to name a few. Be sure to also check out their 50 under $50 wine list.
