Whether you’re looking for practical basics or avant-garde indie labels, touching down in New York puts a literal spin on the phrase “One Stop Shop!” This shopping mecca has all the best shops to score designer discounts, vintage fashions and anything else you might need to satisfy your consumerist lust.
This fashionista wonderland has everything from department stores, to designer outlets, to funky finds for those more artistically inclined, to second-hand shops and flea markets.

Beacons closet, Brooklyn Flea,
The Strand,
BookMarc, Oak, Apple Store 5th Avenue,
Housing Works Thrift Shop, Creatures of Comfort,
Dolce Vita,
Rag & Bone,
Kiosk,
In God We Trust,
Opening Ceremony, Erica Weiner, and Steve Anlan.
Winner: Although Berlin also has great “shop till you drop” potential, ranging from punk/grunge stylin’ to Friedrichstrasse fancy, nothing can quite beat the quantity, quality and variety that exists in the Big Apple.
