Britney Spears
Britney Spears takes the cake for being the first Disney-darling-gone-depraved-diva. It's not her fault, though, really. There's no handbook for how to be Disney's first pop queen.
All was peachy keen during her
Mickey Mouse Club days, but Brit's teen years disassociated her from Mickey, and brought along increasingly scandalous occurrences that altered her untainted image.
A sexy schoolgirl outfit in "
Hit Me Baby One More Time" became child's play by the early millennium, which brought us the red-leather-clad "
Oops I Did It Again" and perspiration-filled "
I'm A Slave 4 U" music videos. Then, there was the disastrous K-Fed marriage, head-shaving incident, and complete mental breakdown in 2007.
Since then, Britney has miraculously worked her way back to the top of the charts--and our hearts. As of 2012, Ms. Spears appears to (finally) be back on the right track. This femme fatale can survive just about anything--with or without Disney.
