Jeanne Tripplehorn
Jeanne Tripplehorn played the iconic first lady in
Grey Gardens, a true story about the lives of Edith Ewing Bouvier (played by
Jessica Lange), and her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale (played by
Drew Barrymore), who were cousins with Jacqueline Kennedy. The film, which aired on
HBO in 2009 won the 2009
Television Critics Association award for Outstanding Achievement Movies, Miniseries, and specials. It was also nominated for 17 Primetime
Emmy Awards (winning 3), and 3
Golden Globes (winning 2). Tripplehorn was nominated for an Emmy for her portrayal for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie.
