Ladies First
RBG is notorious for her constant fight for gender equality - she's been a pioneer since the start of her law career, pushing for equal treatment of men and women, not only because of the detrimental effects it has on the lives of women, but on the lives of men as well. She says, "I think gender discrimination is bad for everyone. It’s bad for men, it’s bad for children." RBG wants to help better the lives of every American citizen - she states that she thinks "of how the constitution begins – ‘We the people of the United States, in order to form a perfect union.’ But we’re still striving for that more perfect union. And one of the perfections is for ‘we the people’ to include an ever enlarged group."
