Transforming the defiant kick boxer into a lover, with all his rough edges in the way. The perfection of this scene, no less the entirety of the movie, set unreal expectations for girls everywhere. He gave her his heart, she gave him a pen - and that lovelies is one of the greatest love stories ever told.
