Art Production Fund Celebrates Ten Years Of Public Art Projects

The event, hosted by Yvonne Force Villareal and Doreen Remen, celebrated Art Production Fund's tenth birthday. The non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting artist's visions by expanding public participation and increasing the understanding of contemporary art.

On top The Standard, guests enjoyed a variety of "fun birthday activities." The list gets pretty exotic (Dare we say even more exotic than Kembra Pfahler's flower-embossed-Afro):

Performances by Kembra Pfahler and Terence Koh (Adorned in their red-painted birthday suits).

A musical performance by Janelle Monae.

"Personal Genius" one-on-one sessions with Linda Yablonsky (Say what?!).

Tattoos designed by Kiki Smith (In case guests wanted to get "artsy" with their bodies, too).

Body scan portrait by Steven Klein (Entirely necessary and a GREAT piece of artwork for the apartment).
