1. The Facebook Event Invite
This is vital for getting the word out. To form the perfectly appropriate event invite, you need a dash of ironic internet humor. Keep in mind that your guests will be receiving a lot of invites throughout the week before your party, so make sure your event stands out so none of the VIP will forget.
1. On Photoshop or Microsoft Paint, craft a unique, fun, yet simple flyer to upload. On the flyer, you can include an image of the host. Make sure not to take this part too seriously. The more D.I.Y, the better.
2. In the body of the Facebook Event's description, include the basic where-when-why details. After getting that out of the way, include a sentence or two to either name drop expected guests (making celebrities out of your friends) or use a quote from a popular party icon, like Prince.
3. Upload a new flyer every other day and make sure to comment on the event's wall so guests will continue to receive notifications and will not forget about the big bash.
