Bloomingdales, Dubai

Bloomingdales, Dubai
Bringing a little bit of NYC to the Mideast, not only is this the only Bloomingdales located outside of the US, but it’s also home to New York’s beloved Forty Carrots and Magnolia Bakery. Celebs like Anna Wintour, Beyoncé, and Queen Elizabeth II have paid a visit to the store, which opened in February 2010. If two stores (Main Store and Home Store) spread out across 146,000 square feet and three levels isn’t enough for shoppers, Bloomingdales Dubai is located in the Dubai Mall, where other attractions include an ice skating rink, the Dubai Aquarium, an Armani Café (one of just seven in the world) and five hotels. Tourists who spend their whole trips shopping don’t have to worry about not seeing Dubai—just head to the observation terrace on the 124th floor of the mall for sweeping views of the city.
