Fact 1: She's a Well Educated British-Jamaican
Grace Wales Bonner was born in London to an English mother and Jamaican father. She attributes much of her style influence to her roots, exploring black male identity in her collections. She stayed in England for her higher education as well, graduating from Central Saint Martins School in 2014 with a B.A. in fashion. She continues her education now in studying African culture, whether it be through research trips to Senegal or exhibits in Harlem.
