Wen Zhou was raised in China in a town where an egg was considered a luxury. After eventually moving to the United States, Zhou became the CEO of a fabric company. After a decade, she loaned her friend,
Phillip Lim, $750,000 to start up his own line. After just six months, the pair had broght in $2.8 million in sales. Zhou now serves as the CEO of the designer line, and the company expects revenues to hit $60 million this year.
