Masha Ma
Though Masha Ma has shown her collection at London Fashion Week for the past three seasons, 2012 was the first season that she was invited to show at Paris Fashion Week. Ma, who was raised in China but went to school in London, creates pieces that are influenced by both the East and West. [Masha Ma Spring/Summer 2011, London, photo via]
Yang Du
33-year-old Yang Du was another Chinese designer present at this year's Paris Fashion Week. After participating in London Fashion Week's New Generation Showcase for the past two seasons, Du made the leap to Paris where her catwalk show was part of the On/Off Showcase, which supports young designers. Du, who lives in London, also creates a line for the Hong Kong boutique, Joyce.
Uma Wang
Uma Wang is arguably the biggest name in Chinese fashion right now. She's shown her collection in Milan and Paris, and according to WWD, is on track to be the first major name to emerge in Chinese Fashion. [Uma Wang, Fall 2012, photo via]
