Hailey Clauson
Hailey Clauson
From: California, USA
Age: 16
Agency: Next Models (previously Ford Models and Marilyn Agency)
Got Her Start: Debuted at Fashion Week in the Fall of 2010 walking for ADAM, Calvin Klein, Gucci, Versace, Hermes, Christian Dior, Miu Miu, Lanvin, and more. Caused controversy by walking in the DVF F/W 2011 show at the age of 15, when the CDFA made guidelines and because Diane Von Furstenberg is the president of the CDFA. An apology was issued, but as with Valerija Sestic, too little, too late.
Has Appeared In Since Then: Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, and Oscar de la Renta's S/S 2012 shows, cover of Korean edition of W Magazine in December 2011, will appear in Vogue Australia for March 2012.
Controversy Outside Of The Catwalk: Clauson sued Urban Outfitters for putting a photo of her on their T-shirts. The problem with the T-shirt? The photo featured her sitting on a motorcycle in leather shorts with her legs wide open, and she was just 15 at the time. She sued for $28 million.
