Jeanne Moreau
French actress, singer, and director Jeanne Moreau is well-known for her leading role in
Jules and Jim (1962), directed by legendary French New Wave filmmaker Francois Truffaut. She plays the central, love interest in the movie about a bohemian threesome of friends separated by love, jealousy, and war. Moreau also starred in Louis Malle's classic movie,
Elevator to the Gallows (1958). Though Moreau is better known for her buttoned-up, elegant, refined screen presence, she also paid careful attention to her public image, always making sure her bikini matched her blouse, like in the photo below.
