We covered 3D designs in the last slide, and the trend continues here. The rungs making up the front part of this dress are constructed out of wood, and the model looks like she's donning some gorgeous piece of innovative furniture. The shot and the overall feeling is reminiscent of Florence Welch. Other pieces in the collection include the model being bound, in some sense, by wood, but is juxtaposed with the lovely natural landscape, which is futuristic in itself. This is a kind of eco-friendly futurism, integrating resources into the apparel. The styling of the hair is still very futuristic, as is the oversized structure of the bird-like sleeves and turtleneck. The look is regal and dominating, but the length of the dress beneath that allows the model's legs to show through, as well as the casual nature of the shoes, create a girlish look, presenting us with a lot of interesting dualities.[Photo via]
