New York Fashion Week is over, which means that it’s time to start shopping for our favorite looks we saw both on and off the runway. Hunting down the trendiest pieces is hard, but a new app called Kaleidoscope makes finding the hottest styles easier than ever. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Kaleidoscope’s director of business development Sarah Kunst described the app, which allows users to browse street-style blogs and fashion editorials, as “Pinterest meets Shop Style.”
Women’s Wear Daily writes:
Users can take inspiration from images of fashion — whether from their favorite street-style blog or an editorial — and they can purchase the product. If a model or blogger is wearing a pair of white patent leather peep-toe wedges, if users click on them, they will see about 10 results from different stores, according to Kunst. “Sometimes it’s the exact look. It’s similar to the idea of the look for less that people do in fashion — but it’s not just about a cheaper thing,” Kunst explained. “It can be a more expensive or a similar version.”
Kaleidoscope will browse sites such as Bergdorf Goodman, ShopBop, Net-a-Porter, and Neiman Marcus twice a day, and users can purchase items directly from the app.
Kaleidoscope is only available for the Android right now, but iPhone users can start planning their purchases because iPhone and iPad versions are coming soon. While you’re waiting for Kaleidoscope to be iPhone ready, you can check out the app HERE.
